Catalyst Teaching School Alliance is delighted to be hosting our second Catalyst Schools Conference on October 20th which will be attended by over 400 teaching and non- teaching staff from local schools.
The theme of the day will be Engagement and Inspiration. Colleagues from local schools will join together to provide a forum to disseminate best practice, focussing on how to achieve and sustain wellbeing, innovation, and creativity.
We are delighted that Andy Cope from the Art of Brilliance, and Professor Jonothan Needlands PhD, Professor of Creative Education at the Warwick Business School and a Creative Fellow at the Creative Thinking Project, will be our keynote speakers. Andy Cope will be sharing the secrets of positive psychology, learning new habits of thinking and behaviours that will sustain personal brilliance in and out of work. Jonathen Needlands will be talking about Culture, Creativity and Growth and why the Arts matter. Karen Horowitz and Ed and Laura Anthony will also be offering workshops coaching, mentoring and wellbeing.
The day will begin with our two keynote speakers, followed by workshops, subject focused practical sessions and opportunities for schools to use time to reflect on the days themes.
