This new three-day programme designed by the Eastern Leadership Centre for recently qualified teachers is now being offered to teachers in our locality. This certified programme is quality assured by the ELC and is approved by the Teaching Schools Council.
You will be joining a new group of staff in our locality with the opportunity for you to reflect on your professional work as a teacher.
With a focus on reflective practice and a coaching style the programme is centred around three face to face days with associated inter-sessional activities:
- Great Teaching – becoming an expert practitioner in the classroom through impact, reflection and risk!
- Leading Learning – taking others with you through inspiration, vision and values
- Forgoing ahead – pathways to further success.
Day 1 will focus on: Great Teaching: ‘Becoming an expert practitioner in the classroom through impact, reflection and risk!’
Day 2 will focus on: Leading Learning: ‘Taking others with you through inspiration, vision and values’
Day 3 will focus on: Forging Ahead: ‘Pathways to further success’
Participants will share and develop exciting good practice. They will explore different ways to use research, observation and monitoring strategies to enhance teaching and leadership. They will also learn more about themselves and working with others through reflecting on personal styles, use of emotional intelligence and overcoming barriers.
Cost: £300 per person
