On the 14th September we will be holding an Arts Award networking event at The Hertfordshire and Essex High School, 3.30pm – 5.30pm.
The Hertfordshire and Essex High school has recently been awarded the prestigious role of Arts Awards Hub. Arts Award is a unique qualification that supports young people to develop as artists and art leaders. The programme develops their creativity, leadership and communication skills and is open to students from KS2 – KS5. The Arts Award embraces all interests and backgrounds and students learn to work independently, helping them to prepare for the next stage of their education and employment.
The Arts Award has five levels, four regulated qualifications and an introductory level which assesses art form, knowledge and understanding, creativity and communication skills. The award is managed by Trinity College London in association with Arts Council England.

- Year 7 : Explore
- Year 8: Bronze
- Year 9 : Silver
- Sixth Form : Gold
To showcase the award and the benefits of encouraging students to take part we will be holding a networking event where we will have two presentations about the award, one at 4.00pm and the second at 4.45pm, nibbles and drinks. This is a drop in event so please feel free to come at a time that suits you best.
